Has anyone seen my glasses?
Never lose your sunglasses or eyeglasses again! These eco friendly, upcycled holsters, created from two coordinating neckties, conveniently snap onto your purse strap or belt loop.
I switch my purse almost daily when I leave the house, and never do I ever leave without also transferring my holster! I love it, it's so easy and convenient to use. If I'm going to a bbq or picnic, or taking Milo to the playground, I unsnap it from my bag and hook it on my belt loop so I'm completely hands-free.
I just posted a few in Aisle 3 {and they go fast!} so get them while they're hot!

Time to Re-Focus...from A to Z
I stumbled across a really simple post by Elycia as I was unwinding on the couch with my blog reader this evening. She simply listed things about herself from A to Z That's it. Plain and simple!
After a long, bumpy day today, my brain liked that.
So I decided to do it too (hey, she said I could copy!}. It just felt like an easy way to get my thoughts in some sort of order. And something I could call an accomplishment at the end of this whirlwind of a day!
A. Age: 39
B. Bed size: Double!
C. Chore that you hate: Cleaning the cat box
D. Dogs: I don't have a dog right now (too much like having a kid). My childhood dog was a German Sheppard named Patrick.
E. Essential start to your day: Coffee and blogs.
F. Favorite color: Oooh, that's a toughy. I wear a good mix of gray, brown, and black.
G. Gold or Silver: Silver
H. Height: Exactly 5'9.75"
I. Instruments you play: I used to play the flute like a badass, now I can barely figure out how to play Mary Had a Little Lamb
J. Job title: Mom, Ma, Momma
K. Kids: Milo (2.5 yrs old)

M. Mother's name: Linda Rae (isn't that cute?)
N. Nicknames: 'chelle, chellep, shellbell, babe
O. Overnight hospital stays: Too many and too awkward to talk about
P. Pet peeve: I recently realized how annoying it is to me when I see people vigorously brushing/combing/running their fingers through their hair. I just want to tell them that they're bothering me. I'm not sure why!
Q. Quote from a movie: "Nobody likes greeeesy, slimey bacon"
R. Right or left handed: Right
S. Siblings: I'm in the middle of my older sister Lisa, and my younger brother, Chad.
T. Time you wake up: Around 6:50am
U. Underwear: I just bought some ruffles!
V. Vegetable you hate: Are yams a veggie? If not, I'll go with lima beans.
W. What makes you run late: Trying to accomplish too many things before walking out the door so that I don't have to do them when I get home.
X. X-Rays you've had: Teeth, and my foot that I broke last fall. Probably other stuff too, just can't remember.

Crafternoon with Crystal
Do you have a lot of jewelry? That's an understatement for me! I actually didn't realize how much I had until my friend mentioned it once {a few times} ok, every time she comes over about a year ago.
Not sure what I was procrastinating at the time, but one day recently I did a big overhaul and cleaned it out. Got rid of stuff I haven't worn in forever. Organized my organizer. Bagged up a bunch for consignment. And made a pile of "to be fixed".
Crystal {the same friend from above} brought her jewelry tools over one day on a recent Saturday Crafternoon and fixed them right up! And she even made lunch, mmmm {Thanks Crystal!}
Check out her handy work:
Speaking of jewelry, I thought I'd share with you my all time favorites. These are pieces that I'm rarely ever seen without. Coincidentally, they're all handcrafted by Amanda {Kat} Shaw, the artist behind Unseelie Designs.
As of late, I've added another multiple personality to my collection: A model. I can't find anyone willing to pose for my Aisle3 product shots, so I've resorted to doing it myself. Self Portrait/Fashion Photographer/Modeling is not easy! Here's what it took for me to get just ONE good shot of the vintage earrings above:
Okay, enough about me. What was your last crafty date?
Speaking of you...I still need your help to decide which of these tutorials to do next!

| I found these at an Estate Sale last fall, but they had crappy old screw on posts. I love my "new" vintage earrings! |

| I bought this in December 2009 and haven't taken it off since. Really, I wear it day and night! |
