My necktie supply is quickly diminishing, and this poor momma is having trouble finding ties at thrift stores that are both affordable and the right style/color for wallets.

Why did you specifically ask for 4 neckties, Michelle? Is that the ratio when you're making wallets, like 4:1? If that's the case, then you'll need A LOT of ties. LOL! Treat them with care, Michelle, 'cause some ties might even be older than you!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember what my logic was at the time; seems like forever ago now! I use two ties per wallet. There are definitely some ties that I hesitate to cut into because they're so unique. For instance, when I find a tie with a "Blackstones" label I usually hang onto it for awhile until my guilt is gone. (If you're not local, Blackstones Department store was a pretty integral part of our downtown community back in the day)
