It's {tag-a-long} Tuesday!

Maybe it's because the local Festival of Quilts is coming in September, or perhaps it's because I am scared to begin sewing my first ever quilt that I cut out back in April for fear that it's going to be a lot more difficult that I imagined...

..or, maybe it's because this quilt from Karen of is just.So.COOL!  {or should I say, "just.So.COZY"?}

Queen Sized Tee Shirt Quilt

i want to wrap myself right up

My head spins with all of the different themes you could create!
  • Kid's tee's
  • Local business tee's
  • Color themed tee's
  • Non-word/Just pictures tee's
  • Concert tee's
  • etc.!!
Aside from it being a great way to upcycle tee shirts, what I really love is that she made this as a gift and quilted the "card" right on the quilt itself.  So.SWEET.

Talk soon,

PS:  Flint Handmade is currently accepting submissions for their exhibit at the Festival of Quilts.  In addition to quilts, they're also featuring an eclectic variety of projects that were created with a quilting process...papercrafted quilting, bags, housewares, wall art, and more.  It's free to participate and the funkier the better!   Click here for the deets.
